Kathleen Heafey founded Teacup Handbags out of her compulsive passion to always be creating something new and beautiful. Originally, the bags started out as birthday gifts for her young daughters friends but soon their moms were asking for ones too.

Kathleen studied fine art and design at the California College of the Arts in the Bay Area and has many years experience in the graphic design industry. Because of the unique texture of woven vinyl, the handbag designs are kept clean and simple and focus on playful accents like a button, some piping or a tie. The practicality of vinyl makes the bags durable and very light weight.
